Protecting shaft with filter

It is recommended to install protection shaft with filter behind small WWTP in such cases, where treated water flows into infiltration system or sand filter. Protecting shaft protects infiltration system or sand filter against silting-up by fine particles and so it prolongs its lifetime. Filter inside the shaft is created by Matala FSM mats made from polypropylene fibres put in layers with thickness of 40 mm with different size of slots. For easy maintenance the mats are fixed on a bar, they can be easily removed from the shaft and cleaned by hose with water. Protecting shaft with filter can be also integrated into accumulation tank for treated water to reach higher quality of water used for watering.
